Installing & removing the software

To install Deva xFTP on your computer

From a download

  1. Download and save Deva xFTP from www.miscosoftware.com.

  2. Decompress the downloaded file with winZip or other Compress tools.

  3. Double-click the executable to run the install.

  4. Follow the on-screen instructions.

From a CD

  1. Place the installation CD in your CD-ROM drive. Installation should begin automatically.

  2. Follow the on-screen instructions.

  3. If your CD-ROM drive does not support automatic installation

  4. Place the installation CD in your CD-ROM drive.

  5. Double-click My Computer located on the Desktop.

  6. Double-click the CD-ROM drive icon.

  7. Double-click the Setup.exe icon.

  8. Follow the on-screen instructions.

To remove Deva xFTP from your computer

There two methods to remove Deva xFTP from your computer.

A:

  1. Choose Start > Program > Deva xFTP > Uninstall Deva xFTPs.

  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to uninstall Deva xFTP.

B:

  1. Choose Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.

  2. Choose Deva xFTP from the list.

  3. Select the Add/Remove button.

  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to uninstall Deva xFTP.
