January 20, 2009, Miscosoftware announces the release of WinTar ver1.0, a simple 32-bit Windows version taball archiver. It is a powerful tool which allows windows user to create, manage and extract most popular Unix/Linux Tarball archive files and windows format archive files.

There a lot of archive formats on Unix/Linux system that do not be supported on Windows Operating System, such as tarball, pax, cpio, shar, ar, mtree and other archive file formats.
